Can I change my account's username?

In order to change your username, you must first have a verified email address connected to your account. You can verify your email address by entering an email in your account settings page or on the change username payment page. Once you enter your email, Stardoll will send you an email asking you to confirm your email.

Once you have confirmed your email, you can purchase the username change voucher. When you have completed your purchase, you will be able to change your username one time per voucher on the Username Voucher Purchase Page.

You can check the availability of usernames on the Change Username Payment Page. This will tell you what names are currently available. However, there is no way to reserve or guarantee that a username will be available when it is time to actually update the username. Please have a few alternatives, just in case! :)

There is no limit to the number of username changes you can make. However, you may purchase only one voucher at a time.

IMPORTANT: If you choose a username that is inappropriate or against the One-Stop Rules, you risk your account being deleted. Please help us keep stardoll safe and fun for all users.

I JOINED THROUGH FACEBOOK AND DIDN'T GET TO CHOOSE MY OWN USERNAME. WHAT CAN I DO?

When you make an account through Facebook you are given a random username, and in that case you get a chance to select a nickname of your liking. If you joined through Facebook, you will be able to change your account's name in your Settings .


Just type in the nickname you want and see if it's available. Please note that once you save the changes you will never be able to change the account's name again.
