Dear Dolls,Last week, the website was targeted again by a Troll with a lot of time in their hands, who managed to get Stardollars from a few accounts and change some Doll’s features and avatars. We want to assure you that your account is SAFE. There has been no data breach and no one got access to the system or even to your personal or payment information.Our technical and support teams have been working hard to control the situation and fix the issues, as quickly as possible. We apologize for the delay in fixing some accounts, but they are our priority and will be fixed in the next few days.Even though we try our best, it is very hard for us to guarantee 100% that this will not happen again in the future, so please help us in our security efforts by reporting suspicious activity.Related to the Dollmail sent yesterday (May 3rd) about a “new” Starcoin currency, please ignore it. As you are no doubt aware, Stardoll has been dealing with a troll who has wreaked havoc on the site by altering avatars and doll features. We have been working to revert the changes made and to prevent future activity of this kind. While this situation is certainly not ideal, we do want to assure you all that there has been no breach of accounts or data and your account information remains secure.
Our technical and support teams were able to quickly find the root of the problem and prevent further issues. We are now working on fixing individual accounts that were affected and aim to have them fixed as soon as possible.
Whenever we are targeted in this manner, it is always difficult and stressful for our users. We want to thank you for your patience and also for your dedication to keeping the site secure. Please continue to report suspicious activity and to spread awareness of account safety.
