What Will Be Will Be!

Recently, I was speaking to a friend of mine from another country, and we were discussing how different our enviroments are. My friend, who happens to be from Australia, was asking me about the United States, and she wondered if what she heard about us was actually true. The funny thing was, many of what she heard seemed to be accurate!

One thing that really stuck out to me was that she mentioned how she heard many people in the United States were often a bit rude, and we frequently live life at a faster pace than others do. Of course I hate to generalize, but I took a moment to reflect and I discovered that this is often true.

Nowadays, so many people are rushing around. We're mad when there's traffic, or when there's a line at the store, or when someone walking slowly in front of us. I've said it once before, but I'll say it again - as a world, we're becoming unkind.

We're so used to speaking with people online rather than in person, that we are losing our social skills. Our instinct now is to be nasty rather than to be kind. It's easier to look down than to smile at someone walking by.

We are taking the things around us for granted. We are taking the world for granted. Take a moment to slow down and smell the roses. What will be will be when it should be.
