Combat Stress and Anxiety

Hey lovelies!

Most of you dolls, who are here, reading this, would probably be people who are in their teens. This is the time when you get geared up to shoulder the responsibilities and handle the stress of being an "adult". You understand more and stress more!

So, what should you do to "get over" all the stress and anxiety?

1. Talk to Someone

This someone can be anyone whom you feel comfortable with. It can be your bestie, your mom or your dad. Choose a person that would be able to understand your situation better than everyone else and pour your heart out to him/her. Be as frank as you can be while narrating your problem as this may help the person you are telling give you the best advice. Even if they can't give you any advice in the end, you will still feel better.

2. Distract Yourself

Get busy! If you just can't help to stop thinking about the problem, its better to engage yourself in something you find interesting. Join art classes, clubs or simply take a trip to the library and read.

3. Find a Solution

I came across this quote a few days back "If it's not going to make a change in the next 5 years, don't spend even 5 minutes on it!". If your problem does affect your future, try to find a solution to it. Sit down and make a list of pros and cons of your possible decisions and take action.

If all else fails, consult a Doctor as taking too much stress might push you into depression.

What are your tips?
