5 Ways to Deal with Stress

Stress. Just the word itself reminds me of those moments before a quiz is passed out, or just bad days in general, or anxiety. Stress is something all of us experience at some point, and many different things trigger it for many different people. Today, I will share 5 ways to help eliminate stress.

1) Have a Spa Day. Or a Spa hour. Just do something to pamper yourself! Try giving yourself a manicure, have a bath, or put on a facial mask. It will calm you down, reduce nerves and eliminate stress!

2) Go for a walk. Whenever I am stressed out, I go for a walk. It gives me time to be alone, but not in a bad way. I get to enjoy nature, and reflect on the situation that is stressing me out. 

3) Talk to a friend. Sometimes, talking to a friend will really take that weight off your shoulders! If your friend is what is stressing you out, try talking to a family member. Remember though, never talk behind someone elses back!

4) Go to a quiet place and listen to music. Listening to music, especially with your eyes closed, can really help to de-stress. Lots of people feel like they can say how they feel through music which is really great and helpful!

5) Write in a journal. A journal is a great thing to have. Its like a friend you can always rely on! You can write all your personal feelings, and it really will make you feel better! Since it is your personal journal too, you never have to worry about spelling or grammar.
