Lately i saw the new Frankie Morello Tribute store in the Starplaza which inspired me to write this blog post "DIY Style Ideas - Studs!", the store is full of edgy, cool designs and lots of them are covered in metal!

Studs are a fabulous way to add a punk touch to any outfit and they come in a variety of different styles from pyramid studs, to cone spikes, and even to simple flat pieces of metal shapes and they come in any colour imaginable so there's a perfect stud for everyone. You can buy them in most leather crafts stores and online relatively cheaply and you can customise almost anything with them. Here is a list of things i have added studs to in real life to give you a few ideas for yourself: Leather bracelets, denim shorts, leather jackets, denim jackets, blazers and headbands. The possibilities are endless with studs, if you have an old jacket that you no longer like, simply stick a few studs around the seams and adorn the shoulders with different sized spikes to transform a plain old jacket into a fashion statement all of your friends will be jealous of!
