Look out for Cherri V!

On Tuesday night, a few of us from the Stardoll office in London went down to see Cherri V, an amazing up and coming London artist at the plush Rubylo. We were greeted by fabulous firey red haired ladies that treated us with some Sleek make up bags. Our lovely goodie bags were filled with cherry-coloured lip-gloss, eyeliner and a huge palette of eye shadows!

The venue itself reminded me of those really cool MTV Unplugged artist sets, with loads of comfy couches, mood lighting and an intimate stage. Of course, this was all complemented with cherry cocktails!

Cherri V got on stage shortly after the party started and completely blew us away with her huge voice, her music was a unique blend of R&B and rock. My favourite song she performed was ‘Fast Car’. A song fuelled by a true story of guy that thought he could win her heart just by revving his sports car.

She told me after the show that she grew up singing in church and that she was actually quite shy was little but you’d never guess it watching her live. She was jumping up and down, and rocking out with the band (all good friends of hers). We were thoroughly impressed with her stage presence AND we couldn’t help eye up her awesome cherry-lego (YUP, LEGO!!) necklace made by Bwoy Wonder.

Cherri V herself had great style, which she described to me as ‘comfy but sexy and edgy’. We like comfy and edgy too!

JLS and Keisha from the Sugarbabes came down to support Cherri V – we love talent-supporting talent!

Overall verdict of the night? Amazing. Cherri V was incredible and super nice, so look out for her Stardoll because she is going to be huge!
