Styling Vinyl #6

For this blog post, I have styled some more pieces from Vinyl!

Starting with my first outfit, I wanted to style the beige lace-up heels and matching mini bag, which I matched nicely with a Kim Shui mini dress and matching glove, that have a bleached-style print. I then added a black hairband, light gold hoops, and then a tied choker that links with the drawstring detail on the dress and glove. Next, I went for a western-inspired look. I chose this super cute mesh mini dress, which has a halter-neck and string detail that connects the top to the skirt. Of course, a staple with the western look is a cowboy hat, and I thought this one tied in with the metal detail on the dress perfectly. Then, I added a pair of strappy heels, some silver hoop earrings, and a black bag with white piping worn over the shoulder.

For my next outfits, I wanted to style this oversized beige jacket and pants. I decided to style them as separates. With the jacket, I styled it with a pair of pants that have a light green, white and beige plaid print. I then added a classic white t-shirt, but a sporty cropped top or even a turtleneck would be a good alternative. To complete the outfit, I added a white handbag, some sneakers and a silver chain necklace. With the baggy pants, I kept the outfit simple and casual, pairing them with a white cropped tank top, and some white chunky sneakers. I then added a black mini bag, a leather cap and some silver hoop earrings. You could add the matching jacket, and hold the bag instead of wearing it over the shoulder.

For my final outfits, I wanted to go for a comfy dressed-down style. With the first outfit, I combined elements from different ‘80s trends such as the sporty cycle shorts and matching crop top, and oversized blazer with exaggerated shoulders. You could switch the shorts for a pair of slouchy black pants instead. I added a pair of black socks with white text (white slouch socks would be ideal) and for shoes, I thought these Triple-S sneakers worked perfectly with the black and beige colors. Finally, I added a pair of sunglasses, and a black bag. For my final outfit, I started with this pair of gray leggings and matching tank top. I then chose a pair of chunky sneakers, which have gray and white parts to match the top and leggings, but also brings in more colour with the blue and beige. To complete the outfit, I added a beige shoulder bag and light gold hoops. You could also add a gray oversized blazer to this outfit.
