Styling It Girls #2

For this blog post, I have styled more of the recolored items from It Girls!

Starting with my first outfit, I chose this brown coat with a subtle grid print. I decided to go for a casual, dressed-down look, with the graphic t-shirt layered over a black turtleneck (optional) and some slouchy black jeans. Instead of a pair of sneakers, I went for some chunky black boots. To accessorize, I chose a pair of ‘90s-inspired sunglasses, some gold square hoop earrings, and layered necklaces, and then a mini handbag. For my next outfit, I took inspiration from a classic Balenciaga look, with the extra-long baggy jeans, blazer with exaggerated shoulders (this time in leather), and the square-toe shoes. Keeping the outfit simple, I accessorized with some classic black shades and a mini crossbody bag. You could switch the bag for an oversized clutch worn under the arm.

I then wanted to style one of my ultimate staple pieces, the classic black crop top. I paired it with a pair of statement snakeskin pants, as I thought the black was a nice contrast to the beige/light brown print. I added some chunky boots (choose strappy heels for a dressier vibe), a leather beret, sunglasses, and then a bag with embellishments worn over the shoulder. Finally, I chose this black off-the-shoulder ruffle dress, which I layered with a white camisole to show the tied straps and ruffles poking out the top. For a bit of subtle color to break up the otherwise monochrome look, I added a beige mini bag and Triple-S sneakers for a casual take. To complete the outfit, I added some pale gold hoops, a black headband, and some sheer socks.
