The 'H' Word - for Teens

ATTENTION! Put down the donut!

Being a teenager can be pretty difficult at times. With classes, homework, and other activities (like the unnecessary drama, yeah I'm looking at you), many of us do not even have time to say the 'H' word.

But what we should know is that the way we take care of our bodies now is going to affect our health in a long-term way. Here are some helpful tips to keep your body up to shape:

1/ You should exercise at least 60 minutes each day.
2/ Try to get involved in a sport e.g. swimming, track, etc.
3/ Try cutting down the amount of soda/soft drinks you consume.
4/ At least 5 serving of fruits and/or vegetables should be eaten each day.
5/ Never skip breakfast!
6/ Try to avoid eating just because of boredom. (I still have to work on that *sad face*)
7/ Drink more water.
8/ Try to get your full 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night.
9/ Eliminate processed foods from your diet.
10/ Be happy.

If you follow these tips, I guarantee that you'll be living a happy and HEALTHY lifestyle in no time. :)

Ok, fine! I'm putting the chips back!
