Saying Goodbye

So I've written in a previous post some help on moving schools, which is what I'm doing soon, but maybe a new environment isn't your biggest problem? It isn't mine.

My biggest problem is saying goodbye to my current school and friends, as it's not very likely I'll ever relive those memories. So, here are some ways to make the most of a tough situation, and preparing to say goodbye:

* Stay in contact - if you're dreading to leave your friends, make sure you're still in contact so you'll be able to see each other again. Organise events, text, email, make sure you're still talking to them!

* Realise it had to happen one day - all things end, and this one is just ending early. Think of it like that, think gracefully.

* Think of it as a challenge - there is a wonderful saying - What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - and realise that the new situation could make you a much better person. You might think differently of it when you're older, realise it wasn't too bad!

* Visit - if it's school you're moving, visit it if you can. Most schools hold open evenings which everyone can attend, and wouldn't it be great to see everyone you know then?

I hope some of these tips help you with leaving any old situation and entering a new one, I know it's not easy :(
