MAC always has new and exciting collaborations, but this might be the most unexpected (and best) one yet. Chic and glamorous Iris Apfel is next in line to come out with, in our opinion, a long overdue makeup line. The 90-year old fashion icon and self-declared “geriatric starlet” is infamous for her large rounded spectacles and daring fashion sense. Scheduled to hit stores January 5th, the line consists of various lipsticks, shadows, nail polish, and blushes. Our personal favorites are the bold and bright Pink Pigeon lipstick and the Orielle Orange nail polish, both an accurate reflection of Iris’ kooky style. MAC’s press release describes the line as being “inspired by a rare bird who has always been ahead of her time.” So make sure to snag your favorite items from the collection, they’re guaranteed to go fast!

We spotted one of the freshest celebrity couples around, Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, brace the cold northeast weather for a walk around New York yesterday! Granted, they are both Englishmen so they're not exactly new to chilly weathers. Besides, can any weather ever really be too cold if you're as hot as they are?

We spotted Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren take out their very restless daughter Honor Marie Warren in Santa Monica the other day. Honor kept moving around in Cash's arms, and Jessica couldn't stop giggling about it! It's to see them smile out in public for once.

We saw Jane Lynch Christmas shopping at The Grove this week. We're so used to seeing her in the hit TV show 'Glee' that we sometimes get her mixed up with her character... Haha!

Leighton Meester is a true Hollywood fashionista. She always impresses us with her amazing fashion! We've noticed that Leighton has two completely different styles. One feminine with soft colors, flowy fabrics and lace and when she wants to look more edgy she wears leather, metallic, and angular shapes. Are you just as in love with Leighton's clothes as we are? Click on the pics and check out our favorite outfits!

How do you take a sort of goth, mostly rock and roll collection from one of today’s darkest (in a good way) designers and make it work for spring summer? Hire Gisele Bündchen—who makes anything look beachy—and stick her on the sand underneath a darkening sky. Throw in a few matte black surfboards and make everyone wear sandals. Give the guys lanyards fit for lifeguards and Gisele a growling rottweiler for balance. Ta-da! Gothic surfwear’s never looked so good.

Move over, Justin Bieber! Selena Gomez has a new date for New Years Eve: fellow teen starlet and longtime BFF Demi Lovato. The two singer/actresses will celebrate 2012 by performing onstage together for MTV’s New Years Special “NYE in NYC 2012,” airing live from the station’s Times Square studio on December 31 at 11 p.m. EST. Teen Wolf heartthrob Tyler Posey will co-host with Lovato at the star-studded event, which will also feature performances by Mac Miller, J. Cole, and Jason Derülo as well as special appearances from Katie Leclerc and Vanessa Marano of Switched at Birth. Sounds like a party! The New Year is a time for fresh starts, and we’re really glad that Selena and Demi decided to reunite for the occasion. Friends since their Disney channel days, they faced a bit of a rough patch when Demi checked into rehab for emotional and physical issues. With these two gals taking the reins, 2012 is looking great already! For those of you who’ve got the Bieber fever, Gomez’s boo won’t be far away—he’ll also be performing in Times Square on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” alongside Lady Gaga, Pitbull, and Hot Chelle Rae. Will you watch Selena and Demi kick off the New Year in NYC?

Among the many reasons Marc Jacobs said no to leading the house of Dior? He thinks couture is “archaic.” Jacobs said that though he considered the position, and was flattered to be asked, he’s happy at Vuitton. “I’ve been saying that for a long time,” he said. “There have been on-and-off conversations about Dior. I don’t know; maybe someday in the future, maybe years from now, I may end up going someplace else, maybe Dior. But right now I am at Vuitton.” Talks between Jacobs and Dior were said to have broken down in September, for reasons as varied as money, staffing and aesthetic, but Jacobs makes the discussions sound more casual than the media believed. His name has been replaced with Raf Simons’, who’s currently at Jil Sander.  One reason the fashion pack’s rooting for Sander is his obvious interest in couture, as demonstrated by his last two collections. It sounds like Jacobs couldn’t be less interested in the art of couture: “The idea of couture doesn’t hold that thing for me. It’s archaic—in my opinion. I mean, I am really interested in the craftsmanship behind couture. But I can explore all that in ready-to-wear. With couture, one dress each season is photographed by a couple of magazines; there’s no advertising; it reaches 20 customers. I don’t feel there is anything lacking in what we do. I get to work with these amazing craftsmen. Maybe not the same ateliers that would make a couture dress, but, again, we are not in a deficit for working with people who create beautiful things. I am not sure I ever looked at couture as this great opportunity.” If Simons is in fact the next Dior designer, here’s hoping an announcement’s made before the end of the year.
