Amber.Stardoll- Demi Lovato has just released her big come back single, and we're freakin' loving it! It's a power ballad called "Skyscraper" and it's deeply personal, telling the tale of the personal battles she's dealt with during the last year. We have never heard her sound so emotional, nor so gorgeous! It's really an amazing song, which just instantly puts all the Disney girls to shame. All we have to say, is wow.

- It has been two years since Katie Holmes ventured into the designing business together with her two friends Heather McQuarrie and Jeanne Yang. Katie and her daughter Suri are often seen wearing the "Holmes & Yang" designs, but they have yet to attract any real celebrities to their clientele. Katie is however hoping that's something that might soon change, revealing her dreams of dressing likes such as Adele, Alicia Keys and Kate Middleton! She explains that in the end it's the woman who makes the clothes, and not the other way around. We couldn't agree more! However we think that she still has some work left to do if she's hoping to attract fashionable royals like Kate. Holmes & Yang has presented a few real stunner pieces, but majority of the designs have been rather shaky in our eyes. But you should never say never, many designers bust their asses off for several years before they catch their big break!

- Well, we didn't have to wait long to find out! This morning, proud dad David Beckham took to his Facebook page to announce the name of his newborn daughter.
He wrote, "I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister.”
We're really digging the Harper name, but we were a bit befuddled over the "seven" part of it until we found out that it used to be David's jersey number when he played for Manchester United and England, as well as the hour and month of her birth and her weight. So all in all, her name gets two thumbs up from us! What about you?

- Finally, the moment we have all been waiting for! Nicole Richie giving style tips on TV! Midst the pre-production of super model Elle Macpherson's new stylish reality show where 12 contestants will fight for the chance to bring their clothing designs to retail stores, it has been confirmed that Nicole Richie will be joining Jessica Simpson in the panel of judges! Quite frankly, it was probably needed. We have nothing against Jessica Simpson and we know that she owns her own multi million clothing label and all, but her sense of style is just not, to put it nicely, quite there. Either way, we think Nicole will really bring the show to the next level!

- News surfaced this past week that Chord Overstreet would not have his contract renewed for a third season of the popular hit show Glee. Chord took to his Twitter to comment on the news, declaring them as "too bad" but added that summer is a time for fresh starts... And he is starting fresh alright!
Yesterday, he was spotted shopping in London's trendy Nottin Hill Gate area together with Julia Robert's niece Emma Roberts! The two of them have been linked together since April, but this is the first time they have actually been spotted out in public. They make a pretty cute couple, right?

- It's the end of an era! A decade has passed since the first ever Harry Potter movie premiered on November 4th 2001. JK Rowling's brilliant books and movie adaptions have entertained people all over the world, and even though they will continue to do so, this is the one and only big finale. The world premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" was held at Trafalgar Square in London today (July 7th) and over 18 000 excited fans showed up to show their support, catch a glimpse of the actors and take farewell of their favorite saga. Watch it all go down in the gallery above!

- Gwyneth Paltrow has really managed to take cooking to a whole new level with the release of her debut cook book! Her success has been so overwhelming that even rock bands have joined in the line of people fighting to have her in their projects!
Liam Gallagher, former member of the 90s hit band "Oasis" has given Gwnyeth the peculiar job of opening the show for his new band Beady Eye's concert in London today. Not with song, but with talk about cooking!
According to the organizers, Gwyneth will be "exploring some of the themes of the book as well as discussing why cookery has become such an important part of her life”.
This could be fun to watch! We wonder if she will be cheered or booed at by the crowd?

- R&B star Beyoncé Knowles made her first screen debut in "Austin Powers in Goldmember" 11 years ago, but she has come a long way since then. She played one of the leads in the critically acclaimed movie "Dream Girls" in 2006 and 5 years later, she is ready to take on the lead role all by herself! She is slated to follow in the footsteps of likes such as Janet Gaynor, Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand when she plays the lead in the fourth "A Star Is Born" remake! Russell Crowe is currently in talks to co-star and the movie will be directed by none other than Clint Eastwood. Beyoncé confirmed the news yesterday during a performance on Good Morning America, saying, "Clint Eastwood? Can you believe that? I can’t believe it still. When I met with him I was just in awe. I’m so, so honored that he believes in me. And I can’t wait to do this film.I represent this generation’s talent and for me to be the chosen person, as an African American woman, is incredible.”
We wish her all the luck in the world and really cannot wait to see both her performance and Clint Eastwood tackling a genre so different from his usual niche!

- Following the death of her father and break up with her moviemaker fiancée Robert Rodriguez in 2009, Charmed actress Rose McGowan took a two-year hiatus from the entertainment business to deal with the losses.
In a recent interview she says that she is finally ready to get back up on the horse, and she is doing so with quite the movie role too! She is slated to play a villainness named "Marique" in the new Conan The Barbarian remake, and she describes the feeling of being back in the make-up chair as absolutely great.
She explains, “I am so impressed by how insane and magnificent I look in the film. I was in prosthetics for five hours each day. The whole project was otherworldly and beautiful, and I really loved what was being created. It was nice to feel that way.”

- When Katy Perry was informed that Kate Middleton and Prince William's Canadian state visit coincided with her tour date last Sunday, she thought it would be a good idea to offer them tickets to go see her show in Ottowa!
She reached out to the couple via Twitter with the following tweet, "In Ottawa! Heard Prince William & Kate are here, come to the show!!! (Kate – bring the McQueen (dress)!).”
Britain's Duke & Duchess Of Cambridge did however not RSVP, and simply chose to ignore the offer all together! Ouch! We suppose royal Twitter invitations just simply aren't quite accepted in Europe yet.
