Tips to Keep You Healthy and Happy

  Today's post is about staying happy. Happiness is very important for the body, mind, and soul, so I wanted to share some tips with you that keep me going when I am feeling down! 

  1. Chocolate 

Chocolate is proven to be a happy food. When I am sad, I have a bit of this sweet. Try not to eat too much chocolate and switch over to fruit!

  2. Dried Pineapple 

I know this is going to sound hypocritical after tip #1, but try having dried pineapple instead of sweets. I usually eat only a bit of chocolate during the week, so instead, I try to eat this.

  3. Warm Baths 

If you feel down in the dumps, take a warm bath with bubbles, epsom salts, or a bath bomb. Taking a relaxing bath makes you feel better and clears your head so you can think.

  4. Music 

When you feel unhappy, try listening to relaxing music. By this I mean classical, ambient, meditation, even space music. One of my favorite relaxing music genres is smooth jazz. 

  5. Read a Book 

My last tip is to read a book. Try to read something you've never read before, because it will really captivate your brain and take your mind off of anything that's making you sad.
