Met Gala 2018 contest!
Hello Dolls!
The topic of the week is, without a doubt, the Met Gala 2018. Here at Stardoll office, we have been talking a lot about it and each one has chosen their favourite dress!
The Costume Institute Gala at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art is the biggest event on the fashion fundraising calendar. Founded by publicist Eleanor Lambert, the benefit was first held in 1948 to encourage donations from New York's high society.
Nowadays, famous celebrities attend the event to raise funds for the Met's Costume Institute and celebrate the grand opening of its latest exhibition.
Each year there is a theme and this year is “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”. Celebrities like Rihanna, Madonna and Kim Kardashian walked the red carpet exhibiting their most incredible garments made by known stylists.
In this competition, we want you to use all your creativity and create YOUR OWN Met Gala dress, using items you already have. Don’t forget to follow the theme. You can also get inspirational by the celebrities’ dresses at the event.
TOP-ADVICE: Draw your own head piece or use items to make it!
The Winners will get Stardollars!
