The Friday Contest is here! Do you want to demonstrate your skills as a stylist, make-up artist, and celebrity manager? Participate NOW!

At the end of the 19th century, she was born into a humble French family. Daughter of Jeanne Devolle and Albert Chanel, she was the second child with a total of five brothers and grew up in a considerably precarious situation. With the passing of years, Gabrielle met, by chance, important people of the European scene. In 1910, she opened her first hat boutique in the heart of Paris. After the Great War, she returned to Paris to open her first sewing house. As a designer, she signed the official death of the corset and of any other piece that sought to constrict the woman. She was the great revolution in fashion! She is... Coco Chanel!
