ElleGirl- William and Kate always look good together—they’ve still got that newlywed glow—but recently, they stepped out looking a little too good together.

The two wore matchy-matchy ensembles as they strolled through a park in Edinburgh, both decked out in sneakers, long pants, and purple sweaters layered over collared shirts. Is it possible this was by accident? Or did they actually decide, while they were getting dressed, to match? That’s the kind of thing that may seem sweet (or not) when you’re actually in the relationship—that they longer you’re together, the more alike you start to look—but to everyone else is way too cutesy. Occasionally, it’s totally fine for pairs to strategically complement each other with their outfits. Here are some more coordinated celebrity twosomes, from best to worst:
Amber.Stardoll- We've said time and time again that summer's hottest colors are white and blue, but we haven't really seen them paired together, we guess because the look could be a bit too Elvis Presley. :)
We just spotted the lovely Freida Pinto in the most amazing outfit! Freida is wearing a simple white dress with a zipper detail up the front and electric blue heels! Her golden skin looks amazing next to the white dress and the blue shoes pop in such a perfect way! Would you wear this outfit?

In 2009, London Fashion Week celebrated its 25th anniversary. International press flew in, Burberry returned home from Milan and the celebrity quotient rivaled that of New York Fashion Week. Somehow (probably thanks to a crop of brilliant young designers and Burberry’s decision to stay put) they’ve managed to maintain that momentum for two years. They changed locations, to Somerset House, hired a PR firm and now, for the spring 2012 season, the British Fashion Council is appointing cultural ambassadors to further promote British fashion. First up is Laura Bailey, the British model, writer and mother of two usually found at the center of London fashion happenings. In a release, she said “I’m proud of my new ambassadorship with the BFC and I am thrilled to be to working with and promoting young British talent. I think it’s a really exciting time for British fashion—via the shows, in the shops and on the streets. I’m also keen to work with the BFC on their collaboration with the film and art world.” Bailey will be meeting with designers and stylists before they show their collections in September to get the inside scoop on what’s about to hit the runway. - It seems that some celebs get stuck in the same pose, you know where they pose exactly the same for every single picture?! And AnnaLynne McCord is one of those celebs. Her trademark: blowing a kiss. We've noticed AnnaLynne playing lip to the camera at almost every event she's pap'd at! While it may cute and spontaneous at first, it definitely gets old after awhile. Come on AnnaLynne, it's time to change things up.

- Jeepers creepers—platforms are back from the dead according to Prada’s 2011 spring collection. If you didn’t quite catch the shoes at first because of the banana tees and vibrant colors, you definitely heard them stomping down then runway. Prada dubs these puppies “creepers,” which seems appropriate considering they look a little old-men orthopedic. The first thing that came to our minds were the pure white Steve Madden platform sneakers circa the fifth grade. Don’t know what we’re talking about? Just watch an old episode of Two of A Kind starring none other than MK and A. We guess the new wave of these platforms are the sophisticated version? We even aren’t too sure, but you tell us—will you be getting a pair anytime soon? Here is Prada’s Oxford-ified x platform sneaker.

- Anna Kendrick is one of our favorite actresses, she has serious talent! Sometimes her red carpet fashion choices are a bit iffy, but if there's one thing we've learned about fashion it's that you can't go wrong with a pair of skinny jeans and a simple black top! Now if she would just do something about her hair!
