Hello again! Let’s pick up where we left off… Here’s the second part of last week’s recap:

30th Sept - Our midweek release was Velvet Orchid. Like the name of the store, the collection gave us a good helping of velvet items in the store’s signature black and purple colour palette. A number of items had embellishments or embroidery, with a few pieces having an Alexander McQueen inspired butterfly print.
There were a variety of designers behind the inspiration for this release - Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, Mark Gong, Blumarine & Christian Louboutin.

2nd Oct - As teased on Thursday when a 50% extra stardollars top up offer was announced, Friday’s release was Young Hollywood featuring outfits worn by celebrities at the recent MTV VMAs.
Some of the celebrities featured in this collection were Lisa (wearing an Attico gown with a Quine Li coat), Taylor Swift (wearing Tamara Ralph), Bebe Rexha (wearing Dreaming Eli), Pinkpantheress (wearing Nina Ricci) and Raye (wearing Georges Hobeika).
A nice surprise was that when buying the suite version of jewellery, we’d also get the beauty parlour version for free.
The illustrators definitely worked their magic with this collection because I liked a lot more than I thought I would. For a number of items, I preferred the Stardoll version compared to the real life version!
