- We love the Golden Globes, they're like the Oscar's cool cousin who dresses extremely chic but also really trendy. The Golden Globes are bit more relaxed, way more fun, and are a total party. Since the pressure of winning an Oscar isn't a factor, you can tell that all of the celebs are having genuine fun. One of the things we love best about the Golden Globes is the fashion! There are some serious hits and some even more serious misses. Like Angelina Jolie stepped out of her usual black and stunned a white and red Atelier Versace number, whereas Sarah Michelle Gellar made us cringe! - Last night was the Golden Globes and they were a blast! We love Ricky Gervais as host and we thought everyone who won totally deserved it. We'll get to the amazing (and not so amazing) fashion later, first let's talk about the winners. Here's are some of our favorites:Best TV Series (Drama)- Homeland starring the lovely Claire Danes, who also won Best Actress.Best Original Song (Motion Picture) -- Madonna, "Masterpiece," W.E.Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) -- Michelle Williams, My Week With MarilynBest Screenplay (Motion Picture) -- Woody Allen, Midnight in ParisBest Supporting Performance in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film -- Jessica Lange, American Horror StoryBest TV Series (Comedy or Musical) -- Modern FamilyBest Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama) -- George Clooney, The DescendantsBest Motion Picture (Drama) -- The DescendantsWe love that Claire Danes and George Clooney totally owned the Golden Globes and think that Modern Family deserves a win every awards ceremony. - Its officially awards season in Hollywood! The Golden Globes and then the Oscars will be in about month's time and then there are all the pre-parties to look forward too as well! The first one kicked off last night. Designer J Mendel held a star-studded bash at Cecconi's in West Hollywood last night and hot young stars like Brittany Snow, Sophia Bush and Swedish cute Alexander Skarsgard were all on the red carpet. Yay for Awards Season!
