Les habitantes de la capitale nipponne sont toujours à la pointe de la mode et la ville est une source constante d'inspiration.
Le Look qui tue s'est rendu dans le quartier de Harajuku à Tokyo pour rapporter des habits complètements barjots! Les filles du crû s'habillent en rose bonbon, se déguisent en personnages de dessins animés, de mangas ou en rockeuses des fifties. Et comme ça ne suffit pas, elles en remettent une couche avec des bonnets, des combinaisons et des parasols en dentelle.
La créativité et l'inventivité du style de Tokyo se retrouve dans la mode des couturiers aussi, en particulier chez quelques avant-gardistes comme Betsey Johnson, Imitation of Christ et Vivienne Westwood.
