- Hairspray star Brittany Snow has a big reason to be excited! She has been chosen to play the young Lily van Der Woodsen in the hugely talked about Gossip Girl spin-off series. As we told you before, the show will be about Serena's mom Lily's wild teenage years in the 80's. Brittany says she can't wait to wear all the fab 80's outfits!
