Hi, I'm Ashley Olsen!

As a designer, actress, entrepreneur and fashion icon, Ashley Olsen has already established herself as one of the fashion and entertainment industries’ most influential young women.

Ashley has devoted much of the last 18 months to The Row, her latest fashion design venture with Mary-Kate. Launched in December 2006, The Row is a high-end fashion line and debuted exclusively in Vogue magazine’s November 2006 issue. With the Fall collection debuting at market week in February and consisting of knitted and woven basics, the line is a true labor of love for the fashion trendsetters who are the sole designers of this line and have worked closely on every aspect from sourcing, fabric development, and product manufacturing and sales as well. It is also an unprecedented move in the fashion industry, marking the first time designers of a mass brand have moved into the highest tier of distribution with a couture line. Ashley is also consulting on a young women’s contemporary line with Mary-Kate set for a Fall 2007 launch at high tier retail stores and boutiques.

In April 2006, Ashley along with Mary-Kate debuted in Badgley Mischka’s spring advertising campaign. The campaign marked Ashley’s first partnership with a luxury fashion house and was also the first time she promotes a brand outside of her own empire. Photographed by Gilles Bensimon in New York City, the campaign was the first time Badgley Mischka featured actresses in their advertising.

Ashley Olsen made her TV debut at age nine months, sharing the role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC hit TV series “Full House” with her sister, Mary-Kate. The two quickly established themselves as a dominant force in children’s entertainment with the addition of numerous other television projects, home videos, feature films, books and musical albums, achieving unmatched results in each. Also serving as executive producer of many film projects and their soundtrack albums, Ashley aspires to produce and direct other positive, family-friendly entertainment that may or may not feature her acting talents.

In January 2005 Ashley took full ownership and assumed the role of co-president of Dualstar Entertainment Group. Dualstar Entertainment Group, Ashley and Mary-Kate’s 13-year-old entertainment and lifestyle company, distributes products in countries all over the world, including the United States, Canada, Australia, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and many more through the mary-kateandashleybrand. Revealing an interest in fashion at a young age, Ashley Olsen brings her first passion to Dualstar Entertainment Group, helping guide the development of its apparel, home décor, beauty and other product lines. While completing her freshman year at New York University, she interned for New York fashion designer Zac Posen, learning first-hand the inner workings of a couture company.

Recognized as a fashion icon and global trendsetter, Ashley’s role in Dualstar and as a young business woman was recently highlighted in a cover article in Marie Claire’s September issue, as well as in Teen Vogue’s first-ever split cover issue in December 2006 which she split with Mary-Kate. Featured in the Style supplement of the U.K.’s Sunday Times in October 2006 where she was touted as a leading style icon, Ashley also graced the August 2006 cover of Nylon magazine and was also featured alone – for the first time – on the cover of the July 2005 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, named “Fashion’s New It Girl.” Ashley’s style has also captured the attention of international magazines and was explored at length in the Sunday Styles section of The New York Times. In Time Magazine’s Spring 2004 supplement, “Women in Fashion: Who’s Got the Power?,” Mary-Kate and Ashley were collectively bestowed the #4 slot, just behind Burberry CEO Rose Marie Bravo, designer Miuccia Prada and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Mary-Kate and Ashley were named "The Most Powerful Young Women in Hollywood" by The Hollywood Reporter, which for four years also named them to its “Power 100” list of the most influential women in Hollywood. In April 2004, Mary-Kate and Ashley received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, becoming two of its youngest recipients.

Ashley currently resides in New York and Los Angeles.
