Backstage Look: Catherine Malandrino and Mary J. Blige Host a Fashion Show
Fashion and music unite at MoMA for a charitable cause

Last week, longtime friends Catherine Malandrino and Mary J. Blige threw their first collaborative fashion show for Malandino’s resort 2010 collection.
The event, hosted by MoMA—the first time the museum has ever opened its doors for a runway show—raised money to benefit Blige’s women’s empowerment nonprofit FFAWN (Foundation For the Achievement of Women Now), which is paying to send 30 graduates from the Bronx’s Women’s Academy of Excellence to college.
