Chanel show in Paris

The always iconic Chanel runway show was set in a life-size replica of the Chanel house at 31 rue Cambon in Paris. The whole exterior of the building was recreated, complete with models strutting down the street in front of it. Models were holding, quite possibly the next 'IT' bags- purses resembling Chanel paper shopping bags while wearing signature Chanel pieces: tweeds, dresses and of course three piece suits in all styles. Evening wear included a feminine version of' le smoking' (Yves Saint Laurent inspired jacket that is). Of course no Chanel show would be complete without a quirky surprise, and we loved this one, a hangbag with Mr. Lagerfelds face for the wearer to hold up to her face and become the legendary designer, even if only for a second!
