Her Madgesty on the Cover of Elle When it comes to music Madonna is all about original material (American Pie aside -- Rupert Everett made her do that one) but when it some to the other kind of covers ... Magazine Covers – Madonna is hittin’ hard on the promotion of her new album Hard Candy. After all these years, turns out she is still covergirl material. The May edition of Elle UK has the Material Girl on it as she runs up to hitting her half century. It's nice to see she's finally kicked off those thigh-high lace-up boots we've been seeing her wear in every other Hard Candy promo photo shoot of late.

They were great boots . .. but it made her look like she did all her promotion on the same day ... and we all know Madonna works harder than that.
