Hi, I'm Mary-Kate Olsen!

Revered for her eclectic style and old Hollywood soul, Mary-Kate Olsen is an actress, designer, style icon and entrepreneur. Her influence in fashion has been recognized around the world, and she currently co-designs the highly successful women’s contemporary fashion line Elizabeth and James with her sister and business partner, Ashley. Named on the “Most Powerful Women in Hollywood” by The Hollywood Reporter, Mary-Kate recently co-wrote a coffee table book with Ashley called Influence, and completed a guest role on the hit TV show Samantha Who.

As an actress, entrepreneur and fashion icon, Mary-Kate Olsen has already established herself as one of the fashion and entertainment industries’ most influential young women.

Mary-Kate can currently be seen in a 10 episode guest-starring role on Showtime’s critically acclaimed dark comedy “Weeds.” She will play “Tara,” a devoted Christian girl living in the newly-developed community Majestic who becomes a love interest for Hunter Parrish’s “Silas.”

Last year, Mary-Kate co-created THE ROW with her sister Ashley. She continues to design for the high-end apparel brand. The Fall 2007 collection expands on initial knitwear line with new, elegantly simple woven pieces, emphasizing perfect fit no matter the wearer. Named after London’s “Savile Row,” which began its three-century history tailoring fine suits for English gentry and statesmen, THE ROW has, over its first year, already earned a reputation among a sophisticated female clientele.

Last April, Mary-Kate along with Ashley debuted in Badgley Mischka’s spring advertising campaign. This campaign marked her first partnership with a luxury fashion house and will also be the first time that Mary-Kate promotes a brand outside of her own empire. The campaign was photographed by Gilles Bensimon in New York City and is the first time that Badgley Mischka has featured actresses in their advertising.

In January 2005 Mary-Kate took full ownership and assumed the role of co-president of Dualstar Entertainment Group. Dualstar Entertainment Group, Mary-Kate and Ashley’s thirteen-year old entertainment and lifestyle company, has products distributed in countries all over the world, including the United States, Canada, Australia, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and many more. With a skill for photography and a passion for its details, Mary-Kate brings her trained eye to Dualstar Entertainment Group, helping guide the development of its apparel, home décor, beauty and other product lines. While completing her freshman year at New York University, she recently interned with legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz and her team, learning all aspects of the visual trade.

Mary-Kate Olsen made her TV debut at age nine months, sharing the role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC hit TV series “Full House” with her sister, Ashley. The two quickly established themselves as a dominant force in children’s entertainment with the addition of numerous other television projects, home videos, feature films, books and musical albums, achieving unmatched results in each. Also serving as executive producer of many filmed projects and their soundtrack albums, Mary-Kate aspires to produce and direct other positive, family-friendly entertainment that may or may not feature her acting talents.
