J'adore Idoru

The Album Winner this week -millert- (click here) has tripped the light Idoru with different takes on the excellent collection of Anime inspired fashions and dolls in the Idoru collection.  From Goth to Candy Store the fashions are inspired from the Harajuku area of Tokyo … famous for its youth style and fashion where teens dress up in massively original styles: often inspred by anime, movies, or manga. -millert- drops in a reference to the School Girl silhouette that is the basis of a lot of anime inspired outfits. The winning album starts off with a dressup of Twiggy: the iconic looks of mod, swinging London could be looked on as an inspiration for Anime heroine …with its dramatic outsized eyes, strong graphics and sense of play
