Phishing sites

Phishing happens when you enter your password on a fake Stardoll login page or download malicious software on your computer that gets access to your log in information.
This may result in messages or links being automatically sent to a large number of your friends - or even in your account and items being stolen. You should always be very careful with phishing sites and with your personal information online!

To solve this issue on your own, please carefully follow the steps provided:

- Run anti-virus software: If your computer has been infected with a virus or with malware, you will need to run anti-virus software to remove these harmful programs and keep your information secure.
- Never click suspicious links: It is possible that someone could unwillingly send spam, viruses, or malware through Stardoll or even sites outside of Stardoll.
- Do not click on links and do not run any ".exe" files on your computer without knowing what they are.
- Stay updated: use the most current version of your browser as it will contain important security warnings, protection features, and may warn you if you have navigated to a suspected phishing site.

Only log in to legitimate pages with the Stardoll.com domain. When in doubt, you can always just type in "stardoll.com" into your browser to return to the legitimate Stardoll site.
