MSW FAQ - Stardoll

As you guys have probably seen by now, MSW will work a bit differently this year and many of you are bursting with questions!

200 semi-finalists from wherever? Only dolls from big countries will make it!
Since dolls from small countries where feeling left out last year, this is the best way to give everyone a fair chance. It doesn’t matter where you’re from -- anyone can get there as long as they make sure to campaign on a global level! You get to show your unique style and make friends from around the world in the process ;)

Many people use fake accounts to vote!!!!!
Calm down, we know! We are aware of this issue and have several tools in place to ensure the voting is fair. Votes from “fake accounts” are not considered valid.

But they also use fakes to disqualify other users!
They may try, but that doesn’t work. These votes simply aren’t counted into the total.

I received warnings a while back, does this mean I can’t compete?
No. If you can see the MSW button and vote for other users, that means you can receive votes too.

What about people reporting others to get them disqualified?
They’re wasting their time. All reports are verified by our staff, and false reports never lead to warnings or other measures being taken.

Can someone be disqualified?
Anyone who is found to be cheating, severely violates the One-Stop Rules or tries to harm other competitors to get ahead may be disqualified. You can’t become MSW if you don’t play nice!
